A. A. Milne

A.A. Milne (1882–1956) was a British author and playwright best known as the creator of Winnie-the-Pooh, one of the most beloved characters in children's literature. The Pooh stories, inspired by his son Christopher Robin's stuffed animals, have enchanted readers since the 1920s and have been translated into virtually every language on earth. Milne's writing is celebrated for its gentle wit, warmth, and the timeless wisdom found in the simple adventures of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, and their friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. Before creating Pooh, Milne was an established playwright and contributor to Punch magazine. His audiobooks and books continue to bring joy to listeners and readers of all ages around the world.
