Adam Rutherford is a British geneticist, author, and broadcaster whose popular science writing and presenting have made him one of the UK's most prominent science communicators. Born in 1975, he studied Genetics at University College London, where he earned his PhD, and has worked at the journal Nature. He presents Inside Science on BBC Radio 4 and has made numerous television documentaries.
