Archibald Gracie IV (1858–1912) was an American writer, real estate magnate and amateur historian who was a first-class passenger on the RMS Titanic. He survived the sinking and immediately began compiling one of the most detailed first-hand accounts of the disaster, interviewing fellow survivors while the events were still fresh.
Titanic is his meticulously researched account of the ship's final hours, published shortly after his death in 1912. Gracie died just months after the sinking, and his book remains one of the most important primary sources on the disaster.
His audiobooks and books are essential listening for anyone fascinated by the Titanic — a first-hand account from someone who lived through one of history's most famous maritime tragedies.
