Caitlin Doughty

Caitlin Doughty is an American mortician, author, and advocate for death acceptance who has become one of the most prominent voices challenging Western society's uncomfortable relationship with mortality. The founder of The Order of the Good Death and the host of the hugely popular Ask a Mortician YouTube channel, Doughty uses humour, curiosity, and compassion to explore death and funeral practices around the world. Her books, including Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, From Here to Eternity, and Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs?, blend memoir, travel writing, and cultural history. Her audiobooks offer listeners a funny, fascinating, and ultimately comforting exploration of humanity's most universal experience.
