Caitlín R. Kiernan

Caitlin R. Kiernan is an Irish-born American author of dark fantasy, science fiction, and horror who is widely regarded as one of the finest writers of weird fiction working today. Her work is characterised by its literary ambition, its unsettling atmosphere, and its refusal to offer easy answers or comfortable resolutions. Agents of Dreamland is a novella that blends cosmic horror, science fiction, and espionage in a story about a government agent investigating a cult in the Arizona desert whose activities may be connected to something far stranger and more dangerous than anyone imagines. The book was praised for its atmospheric prose, its Lovecraftian sensibility, and the intelligence with which it weaves together multiple timelines and narrative threads. Kiernan is the author of numerous novels and short story collections, including The Drowning Girl and The Red Tree, and has won multiple awards including the World Fantasy Award. Agents of Dreamland is available as an audiobook alongside the print edition, offering listeners a darkly beautiful and mind-bending way to experience one of the finest voices in contemporary weird fiction.
