Clarissa Dickson Wright (1947-2014) was a British celebrity cook, author, television presenter and one half of the beloved BBC cooking duo Two Fat Ladies alongside Jennifer Paterson. A barrister's daughter who became one of the youngest women to be called to the bar, she later fell into alcoholism before reinventing herself as a cookery writer and television personality. She was celebrated for her forthright manner, encyclopaedic food knowledge and unapologetic love of traditional British cooking.
