Daisy May Cooper

Daisy May Cooper is a British actress, writer, and comedian best known for co-creating and starring in the BBC mockumentary This Country, for which she won a BAFTA. Born in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, in 1986, she trained at LAMDA. Don't Laugh, It'll Only Encourage Her is her memoir about growing up in the Cotswolds, the struggles of trying to make it as an actress, and the family dynamics that fuelled This Country. The book is brutally funny, sweary, and unexpectedly moving. Her audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers a hilarious, no-holds-barred memoir from one of British comedy's most original voices.
