Dylan Thomas was a Welsh poet and writer whose passionate, musical, and richly sensuous poetry and prose have made him one of the most distinctive voices in the English language. Born in Swansea in 1914, he published his first collection of poetry at the age of twenty and quickly established himself as a major literary talent.
