E. H. Gombrich

E. H. Gombrich (1909–2001) was an Austrian-born British art historian and author, one of the most influential art historians of the twentieth century. His book and audiobook A Little History of the World is a beloved, beautifully written history of civilisation told for younger readers — and widely enjoyed by adults — covering the sweep of human history with warmth, clarity and infectious enthusiasm. The audiobook is a wonderful listen for all ages.
