Fiona Leitch is a British author of cosy crime fiction whose Nosey Parker mystery series, set in Cornwall, has charmed readers with its combination of warmth, humour, murder, and delicious food. Before becoming a novelist, Leitch had an entertainingly varied career that included writing for football and motoring magazines, DJing at... illegal raves, and appearing in low-budget television commercials. Leitch grew up in London and lived in St Ives, Cornwall for nearly two years — an experience that provides the authentic Cornish flavour of her fiction. She now lives in New Zealand with her family, writing about Cornwall from the other side of the world. Her debut novel Dead in Venice was published by Audible in 2018 as one of their Crime Grant finalists. She then created the Jodie "Nosey" Parker series for HarperCollins — cosy crime novels following Jodie Parker, a former Metropolitan Police detective turned caterer who has moved to a small Cornish town and keeps stumbling across murders. The series includes Murder on the Menu, A Body on the Beach, The Cornish Campsite Murder, A Cornish Seaside Murder, and more. The books combine classic cosy mystery elements — a close-knit community, a likeable amateur sleuth, red herrings galore — with genuine warmth, laugh-out-loud humour, and enough food descriptions to make you hungry.
