Gemma Files

Gemma Files is a Canadian horror author, screenwriter, and former film critic who has won multiple awards for her dark, boundary-pushing fiction. A Book of Tongues is the first novel in her Hexslinger series, a wildly original blend of weird western, dark fantasy, and horror set in the aftermath of the American Civil War, featuring outlaw sorcerers and Aztec gods.
