H.E. Bates

HE Bates was one of the most beloved English writers of the twentieth century, author of over thirty novels and hundreds of short stories. He is best known for The Darling Buds of May, adapted into the iconic ITV series starring David Jason. This BBC Radio Collection brings together dramatisations and readings of his work.
