Hector Hugh Munro, better known by his pen name Saki, was a British author and master of the short story whose work is celebrated for its wit, surprise endings, and darkly comic view of Edwardian society. His stories skewer social pretension and convention with razor-sharp humour and an anarchic spirit. Saki's audiobooks and books remain widely enjoyed for their inventiveness and their influence on writers from P.G. Wodehouse to Roald Dahl.
