Helene Tursten

Helene Tursten is a Swedish crime writer whose Inspector Huss series, set in Gothenburg, has been translated into numerous languages and adapted for television. Her writing combines the atmospheric, socially conscious tradition of Scandinavian crime fiction with warm, complex characters and intricate plotting. An Elderly Lady Is Up to No Good is a delightfully dark collection of stories featuring a seemingly sweet octogenarian with a talent for getting away with murder. Tursten's audiobooks and books are beloved by fans of Scandinavian crime fiction who enjoy both traditional detective stories and darker, more subversive fare.
