Horace Greasley was a British soldier whose memoir Do the Birds Still Sing in Hell? recounts his extraordinary experiences as a prisoner of war during the Second World War. Greasley claimed to have escaped from his POW camp over two hundred times, returning each time voluntarily, in one of the most remarkable survival stories of the conflict. His audiobooks and books are gripping accounts of endurance, defiance, and the human spirit under extreme adversity.
