Ivan Turgenev

Ivan Turgenev was a nineteenth-century Russian novelist, short story writer and playwright, considered one of the great realists of Russian literature. Father and Children (also known as Fathers and Sons), available as an audiobook and book, is his masterpiece — a novel about the generational conflict between liberal idealists and young nihilists in 1860s Russia. Turgenev's elegant prose and psychological insight continue to speak to readers and listeners about the tensions between generations.
