Jeff Lindsay

Jeff Lindsay is the pen name of Jeffry P. Freundlich, an American playwright and novelist best known as the creator of Dexter Morgan — the fictional serial killer who only kills other killers, and who became one of television's most iconic characters. Darkly Dreaming Dexter is the first novel in the Dexter series, introducing the Miami forensic blood spatter analyst who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer. The novel was adapted into the hit Showtime television series Dexter, which ran for eight seasons. Lindsay's darkly comic voice and his protagonist's chilling first-person narration created one of crime fiction's most original characters. His audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers darkly funny, deeply unsettling crime fiction featuring one of fiction's most memorable antiheroes.
