Joe Hill is an American author of horror, fantasy, and suspense fiction. Born Joseph Hillstrom King in 1972, he is the son of Stephen King but deliberately established his career under a pseudonym before his parentage became widely known. He studied English at Vassar College. 20th Century Ghosts is his debut short story collection,... which won the Bram Stoker Award and the British Fantasy Award. Hill's novels include Heart-Shaped Box, NOS4A2, The Fireman, and the acclaimed comic book series Locke & Key.
