Lucy Holland

Lucy Holland is a British author of fantasy fiction inspired by British mythology and folklore. She studied English at the University of Exeter. Sistersong is her debut novel — a retelling of the English folk ballad 'The Twa Sisters' set in post-Roman Britain, blending historical fiction with dark magic and mythology. The novel explores gender, identity, and the bonds between siblings against a backdrop of Saxon invasions and pagan magic. Her audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers dark, atmospheric fantasy rooted in British mythology — a novel that brings ancient folk ballads to vivid, haunting life.
