Michael Robotham is an Australian-British crime fiction author and former investigative journalist whose psychological thrillers have won multiple awards and sold millions of copies worldwide. Born in Casino, New South Wales, in 1960, he was a journalist before ghostwriting autobiographies, then turning to crime fiction.
Bleed for Me features clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin, Robotham's recurring protagonist who uses his psychological expertise to solve complex cases while battling his own Parkinson's disease. The Joe O'Loughlin series spans over a dozen novels. Robotham won the CWA Gold Dagger for Life or Death and the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger.
