Ovid

Ovid was a Roman poet born in 43 BC, one of the three canonical poets of Latin literature alongside Virgil and Horace. Metamorphoses is his masterpiece — a vast, exuberant narrative poem that retells over two hundred myths of transformation, from the creation of the world to the deification of Julius Caesar. It has influenced Western art and literature for two thousand years. His audiobooks and books are magnificent listening and reading — epic, playful, and endlessly inventive.
