Pyotr Kropotkin was a Russian anarchist, scientist, philosopher and activist who became one of the most influential political thinkers of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Conquest of Bread, available as an audiobook and book, is his foundational work of anarchist-communist theory, arguing for a society based on mutual aid and voluntary cooperation. Kropotkin's ideas continue to inspire political thinkers and activists among readers and listeners.
