Rachel Blackmore is an Irish jockey who has made history as one of the most successful riders in jump racing. In 2021, she became the first female jockey to win the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and the first female jockey to be the leading rider at the Festival overall. She followed this by becoming the first woman to win the Grand National on Minella Times. Blackmore's achievements have broken barriers in a sport long dominated by men. Her books and audiobooks offer racing fans and sports enthusiasts an insight into the determination, skill, and courage required to succeed at the highest levels of National Hunt racing.
