Ross Welford

Ross Welford is a British author of middle grade fiction known for his inventive, warm-hearted and thought-provoking novels for young readers. His books combine big speculative ideas — time travel, invisibility, immortality — with deeply relatable characters and emotional stories about family, friendship and growing up. His debut, Time Travelling with a Hamster, was a breakout success. The Dog Who Saved the World is a heartwarming adventure about a girl and a dog who must save the planet from a deadly disease, blending science fiction with the kind of warmth and wonder that makes Welford one of the most popular children's authors working today. His other novels include What Not to Do If You Turn Invisible and The 1,000-Year-Old Boy. Available as both books and audiobooks, Ross Welford's novels offer wonderful listening and reading for young readers and families who enjoy stories that are imaginative, emotionally rich and full of hope.
