S.I. Martin is a British author and historian who specialises in the Black British experience. Incomparable World is his historical novel set in Georgian London, following the lives of Black loyalists who fought for the British during the American Revolution and found themselves in the chaotic, vibrant streets of eighteenth-century London. The book was rediscovered and championed by Bernardine Evaristo. His audiobooks and books are important, engaging listening and reading for anyone interested in Black British history and the untold stories of people of African descent in Georgian England.
