Sir Bradley Wiggins is a British former professional cyclist who in 2012 became the first British winner of the Tour de France and won Olympic gold in the time trial — crowning one of the greatest years in British sporting history. Born in Ghent, Belgium, in 1980, he won eight Olympic medals across five Games.
The Chain is part of his writing about cycling and his remarkable career. Wiggins's autobiography My Time documented his extraordinary 2012 season. He was knighted in 2013. His story is one of supreme athletic achievement but also of the personal costs of elite sport.
His audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers an inside perspective on elite cycling from one of Britain's greatest ever sportsmen.
