Tade Thompson

Tade Thompson is a British-Nigerian author of speculative fiction. Born in London and raised in Nigeria, he is a psychiatrist and the author of the Wormwood trilogy, which won the Arthur C. Clarke Award. Far from the Light of Heaven is a science fiction mystery set aboard a generation ship, where a captain wakes from hibernation to find some of her passengers dead. Thompson's fiction combines genre-bending imagination with literary ambition and draws on both his African heritage and his scientific background. His audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers bold, imaginative speculative fiction that blends African perspectives with cutting-edge science fiction — genre fiction at its most ambitious.
