Tananarive Due is an American author of horror fiction, screenwriter, and educator widely regarded as one of the most important voices in Black horror. A recipient of the American Book Award and a leading figure in the Afrofuturism movement, Due's novels and stories blend supernatural horror with the real horrors of racism, family trauma, and American history. Her works include The Between, My Soul to Keep, The Good House, and the African Immortals series. Due teaches Black horror and Afrofuturism at UCLA and has been instrumental in bringing critical attention to the long tradition of Black storytelling in the horror genre. Her books and audiobooks offer listeners powerful, thought-provoking horror that illuminates the Black American experience through speculative fiction.
