Thomas Piketty

Thomas Piketty is a French economist who is one of the world's foremost experts on wealth and income inequality. His landmark Capital in the Twenty-First Century was a global publishing phenomenon that reshaped the debate about inequality. A Brief History of Equality takes a more optimistic view, arguing that the long arc of history bends toward greater equality, while acknowledging the enormous challenges that remain. His audiobooks and books are essential listening and reading for anyone interested in economics, inequality, and the forces shaping the distribution of wealth in the modern world.
