William Casey (1913–1987) served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency under President Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1987. During the Second World War, he worked in the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the CIA's predecessor, running espionage operations in Europe.
The Secret War Against Hitler is Casey's own account of the OSS's covert operations during the war — the spy networks, sabotage missions and intelligence gathering that helped defeat Nazi Germany. Written from personal experience, it offers a unique insider's perspective on wartime intelligence.
His audiobooks and books are fascinating listening for anyone interested in espionage, the Second World War and the hidden operations that shaped the course of history.
