– William Morris

William Morris was a nineteenth-century British textile designer, artist, writer, socialist activist and one of the founding figures of the Arts and Crafts movement. News From Nowhere, available as an audiobook and book, is his utopian novel imagining a future socialist society where work is a joy and the countryside has been restored to beauty. Morris's vision of a more humane world continues to inspire readers and listeners interested in art, politics and social change.
