Audiobooks have been the fastest growing segment of the books market for over a decade – generating c. £1Bn in revenue across the UK ecosystem last year. And yet, offline retailers have, until now, been excluded from access to this dynamic market.

At xigxag, we want to to support indie bookshops and retailers, giving you access to the exciting growth of Audiobooks so that more people can enjoy more books.

We sell audiobooks directly to consumers via our app and website, but we also make it easy for UK bookshops and other retailers to sell audiobooks in store with our digital audiobook gift cards.

What we offer retailers

Our Digital Audiobook Gift Cards are at least 100x more space efficient than physical books and yet just as compelling, with the covers, the authors (and us!) doing all the hard work.

The cards are A7 size when folded, 74 x 105mm, printed on recycled 350gsm weight paper, with the title’s beautifully designed cover artwork displayed prominently on the front cover, and a book synopsis on the back cover.

Inside, the customer will find simple instructions to redeem their Audiobook, either using the unique QR code printed inside, or via written instructions and a text-based code. Each card is sealed with a biodegradable sticker to prevent the QR code from being used before purchase/distribution.

How does it work?

Retailers can curate a selection of titles from our catalogue to suit your customer base, or to align with your events schedule. Or, we can suggest a range of our bestselling titles as a starting point.

Display the cards in your own display, or we can provide a branded display unit (holding up to 80 cards) to help merchandise the product in your store.
