Anthony Head is a British actor and musician best known for playing Rupert Giles in the American television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Uther Pendragon in the BBC series Merlin. Born in Camden Town, London in 1954, he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
