Brian Cox

Brian Cox is one of Britain's most distinguished and beloved actors, with a career spanning six decades on stage, screen, and television. He is best known internationally for his portrayal of Logan Roy in the HBO series Succession, for which he won a Golden Globe Award, but his theatrical career includes landmark performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal Court, and the National Theatre. Putting the Rabbit in the Hat is his entertaining and wonderfully candid memoir, offering a behind-the-scenes look at his life and career — from a tough childhood in Dundee through his training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art to his experiences working with some of the greatest directors and actors in the world. The book is filled with sharp opinions, hilarious anecdotes, and genuine insight into the craft of acting. Cox has appeared in dozens of films, including Manhunter, Braveheart, and The Bourne Identity, and has been honoured with a CBE. Putting the Rabbit in the Hat is available as an audiobook alongside the print edition, giving listeners a hugely entertaining way to spend time in the company of one of the great actors of our time.
