Daniel Mendelsohn

Daniel Mendelsohn is an American author, critic and classicist, a regular contributor to The New Yorker and The New York Review of Books. His book and audiobook An Odyssey: A Father, a Son and an Epic is a brilliant, deeply personal memoir interweaving his father's decision to audit his college course on Homer's Odyssey with their own father-son journey. Mendelsohn's writing is intellectually dazzling, emotionally profound and beautifully structured, and the audiobook is an extraordinary listen.
