David Epstein

David Epstein is an American author and journalist who writes about science, sports, and human performance. He is a former investigative reporter at ProPublica and a former senior writer at Sports Illustrated. Inside the Box is one of his works exploring human potential and performance. Epstein's Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World was a New York Times bestseller and argued that broad experience and late specialisation often lead to greater success. His audiobooks and books offer listeners and readers compelling, research-driven writing about human potential — books that challenge conventional wisdom about success and performance.
