Jonathan Pie

Jonathan Pie is the fictional creation of British comedian and actor Tom Walker — a frustrated news reporter who delivers passionate, profanity-laden rants about politics, media, and modern life. The character became a viral sensation through a series of online videos that have been viewed hundreds of millions of times worldwide. Jonathan Pie: Off the Record (and its various iterations) captures the character's sharp political satire in book and audiobook form. Walker's creation resonates because it channels genuine frustration with political discourse, media spin, and the state of public debate, while remaining devastatingly funny. The character has transcended his online origins to sell out live tours across the UK and internationally. Tom Walker's performance as Jonathan Pie has earned critical acclaim for its intelligence, timing, and willingness to skewer all sides of the political spectrum. The audiobook versions, performed by Walker himself, capture the energy and immediacy that made the character famous. For listeners and readers who enjoy political comedy with real bite, Jonathan Pie offers something refreshingly honest.
