Samuel West is a British actor, director, and narrator, the son of actors Timothy West and Prunella Scales. Born in London, he studied at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and trained at LAMDA. His screen credits include Howards End, Notting Hill, Cambridge Spies, Mr Selfridge, and All Creatures Great and Small (as the narrator). West has... performed extensively at the National Theatre, the RSC, and in the West End, with particular acclaim for Hamlet and other classical roles. He has also directed for the stage and is president of the National Campaign for the Arts. As an audiobook narrator, West brings a beautiful, intelligent voice and the precision of a classical actor. He has narrated numerous titles across literary fiction, non-fiction, and children's literature, and his work as narrator of All Creatures Great and Small demonstrates his warm, engaging delivery.
