The last book in the trilogy and again it seemed to me that it could have missed out some of the details which made it so long. I do realise it helps to set the scene for some of the other trilogies written about this/these worlds but now I may or may not remember those facts as I tended to turn off a little at those points (I use the audiobooks to listen to as I drive about so the story is the thing!. It has not stopped me buying the next series (or at least I think it is - The Empire trilogy) so will see how that goes!
