What to expect
Detective Chief Inspector James Hardy's caseload is bursting at the seams. A serial murderer dubbed The Angel Killer is stalking young women in and around London, and an assassin is picking off high-profile political figures one by one, with his ultimate target being the prime minister herself. Both cases land squarely on Hardy's desk even as he struggles to rebuild a stable home for himself and his two young daughters after the senseless murder of their mother. As the body counts rise and the killers become bolder, Hardy realises he needs to get his head in the game and put his personal life on hold once again, jeopardising the very stability he has fought so hard to create. With time running out and the stakes rising at every turn, Hardy must give more of himself than ever before to stop these killers.
