What to expect
Hungry and alone in the desert, Kid is picked up on the side of the road by Wolf, Dolly, Tank and Pretty Boy: a raider crew with a big, bad reputation and even bigger guns.
But as they journey across the wasteland, Kid learns that her saviours are hiding a terrible secret. In a world that's lost its humanity, how long will Kid stay hungry before she loses hers?

Merbeth centers the humanity of the bad guys in her gleeful postapocalyptic gore-fest debut . . . [she] makes it hard not to root for her quirky, amoral killing machines

Filled with dark humor, wit, and a realistic dystopian setting, Bite plays with the idea of who the good guys are in such a harsh world. Think Carl Hiaasen thriller set in a Mad Max world, and you have an idea of what to expect

If you think you could never sympathize with killers and cannibals, think again, Merbeth makes them practically irresistible . . . the most fun I've had in ages

Bite is what would happen if Mad Max, Fallout and Borderlands met, drank themselves stupid, ended up spending the night together in a seedy wasteland hovel and partook in some unprotected three-way drunken debauchery. Nine months later a baby would come out into the world kicking and screaming and that baby would be Bite! Pure awesome!
