What to expect
She's been a good wife.
A good mother.
A good sister.
A good friend.
So why does Caitlin feel like she's had enough?
With her twentieth wedding anniversary approaching, Caitlin's carefully organised life is beginning to fall apart. Her teenagers are driving her to distraction, her husband Charles is becoming harder to live with, and her best friend Lou isn't there for her like she used to be.
Then there's Samantha, her complicated sister, whose recent redundancy has sent her life into a tailspin.
And then Tony walks back into Caitlin's life.
An exciting reminder of the woman Caitlin used to be — and a tantalising glimpse of the woman she might become.
Suddenly, the future doesn't look quite so predictable.
But is Caitlin having a midlife crisis? Or has she simply spent twenty years putting everyone else first?
With the anniversary party looming, Caitlin must decide whether to carry on being the woman everyone expects her to be — or finally admit what she wants.
Because sometimes saying no is the beginning of finding yourself.
Funny, poignant and painfully relatable, Caitlin's NOT Sorry is a warm-hearted novel about marriage, friendship, family, infidelity and the moment a woman finally asks: what about me?
Perfect for anyone who has ever looked at their life and thought: Is this it?
