I listened to this on Xigxag and the narrator, Susan Ericsson (?) was very aggressive in tone. Not just on Marino but on all characters and it grated after a while.
It seems Cornwell is trying to entice Gen Z with this one but she seems to forget the majority of her readers are more Gen X.
Overall, very disappointed with this one.
