Welcome to the whimsical world of the Clangers, a family of pink mouse-like creatures who dwell on a mysterious blue planet deep in space. Let's meet the inhabitants of this craggy yet charming world. Major Clanger is the father of the family, forever inventing all kinds of curious contraptions. Mother Clanger tends to their home with steady kindness and a comforting nature. Small Clanger, their adventurous son, is eager to explore and make marvellous discoveries, though his curiosity sometimes leads him into mischief. Tiny Clanger, the youngest, has a generous spirit and embraces everyone she meets with open arms. Alongside the Clangers live their friends: the Soup Dragon and her playful Baby Dragon, who live deep underground and provide the Clangers with delicious green soup; the Iron Chicken, the Music Trees, the Froglets, and the gentle Hoots. The Soup Dragon appears to be tremendously grumpy today, and she refuses to give the Clangers their green soup. Tiny tries to cheer her up with tunes from the Music Trees, but nothing seems to work. She asks Iron Chicken for advice, and her friend provides a list of ingredients and directions to make a baby soup dragon to comfort the sad Soup Dragon. Meticulously following the instructions from Iron Chicken, the Clangers manage to hatch an adorable Baby Dragon for their friend. Bringing the Baby Dragon to Soup Dragon, she is overcome with joy to have a son. She becomes her usual silly self since she has her son. Soup time is back on for the Clangers.
