A brilliant book read superbly by Daniel York. Gripping and engaging, I didn't want to turn it off. I've read a lot of books of North Korean defectors and the position that Mr Jin-Sung held in the party adds extra interest and a different perspective to his story. Mr Jin-Sung is an excellent writer and he includes some of his own poetry in his work which is very moving. I cannot recommend this one enough. Daniel York's narration brings this story to life in a way that it deserves. Praise all round.
