I live in a village two miles from Stamford, where this story was set. It was great to be able to picture all of the quaint streets, architecture, history, shops and the river. RCB did a great job on this.
As for the plot...I thought it was a bit long-winded and didn't always hold my attention. There were a lot of characters to digest.
I usually prefer a physical book, but listened to this one, so maybe that was why it didn't grasp my attention. All said, it was perfectly readable.
Would recommend this 100pct
