Brilliant and gripping all the way through. Can't wait for Alan Johnson's next thriller. He writes with such an easy style and given his former Government position must have a lot of insight into the way things were and indeed still are, but with some literacy licence as well. Would love to see him develop these characters in future stories. I think he just might have left himself room to do that. Beautifully narrated as well.
