Deja Vu

Synopsis

When the heart beats for a love that time could never erase … Deja Mitchell is the epitome of purpose and power—Manhattan’s queen of communications and the visionary force behind Fire & Soul Communications, an agency that turns trends into revolutions. Draped in purple and ambition, she strides through life as bold as the jazz that feeds her soul. But for all her brilliance, there’s one rhythm she can’t seem to master—the echo of a love that once consumed her. DeVante Michaels is a man of grit and grace, whose rise in the tech world is as commanding as his presence. Yet beneath the tailored suits and skyscraper dreams lies a man still haunted by the one mistake that has haunted him for decades—letting Deja slip away. When fate brings them back together at a gala glittering with Manhattan’s elite, it ignites more than just memories. It sparks a flame neither of them ever truly extinguished. Their affair started back in college, where dreams were big, nights were long, and love was jazz—wild, untamed, and full of soul. Deja and DeVante were two kindred spirits navigating a world too small for their ambition, their passion an uncontainable force that burned hot but ended too soon. Now, decades later, they stand on opposite sides of the success they once chased, thrust into a storm of unspoken truths, lingering regrets, and a magnetic pull that defies reason. Can they overcome the shadows of their past to embrace the promise of what could be? Or will the scars of yesterday keep them from a future written in destiny? Deja Vu is a tale that hums with the rhythm of jazz, the power of reinvention, and the courage to rewrite your life’s melody. Set against the backdrop of jazz-infused nights, power struggles, and raw emotion, Deja Vu is a sweeping tale of love rediscovered, resilience redefined, and the courage it takes to claim the life—and love—you deserve. It’s about finding the harmony between past and present and daring to believe that second chances aren’t just for dreamers—they’re for those bold enough to take them.
