One of my favourite authors but I didn't enjoy this book as much as her others, nothing wrong with the story line at all and the narration was 2nd to none. I just found it difficult to follow as so many names and timelines that I found myself constantly going back to previous chapters to re listen thinking I had missed something.

Lisa Jewell is always excellent, and I was quickly engrossed in this twisty thriller. The narration was phenomenal - what an incredible cast of characters - Richard Armitage was especially brilliant.
I did find it a little harder to follow than her previous titles due to the multiple viewpoints and years - an x-book to refer back to would be helpful here.

The term "page turner ", is often bandied about,however in this case it is well deserved . I loved this excellent story coupled with spot on narration.

I wanted to love this book but I didn't. It was a good story with great narration. The different voices for the various characters helped sort them all out, as it's one of those books where some chapters were in the past and others now. My main problem was that Nick, the protagonist, was just so sleazy and unlikable I didn't care about him and it stopped me engaging with the story. I've given it 4 stars because Lisa Jewel writes great novels but I doubt I'll revisit this one.

Another gem from Lisa Jewell. I don't know how she manages to delve into the darkest places of the human psyche, but I'm glad she does. The ending, as usual, is tantalisingly unexpected. I wait with anticipation for her next creation.
