Forbidden 2

Synopsis

Death before dishonor was the only way out—but now Anthony Padmore is paying the price. Incarcerated for his role in the Padmore family's criminal empire, he's awaiting trial while the empire he helped build begins to crumble. Behind bars, Anthony faces new enemies and old ghosts, including the nagging question of whether Soldada Andrews, the woman who once set his soul on fire, was the one who sealed his fate. Meanwhile, Soldada is on the fast track to becoming a legal powerhouse, but success comes at a cost. The case that put Anthony away made her a star, but it also painted a target on her back. As Roland Padmore wages war from the shadows, Soldada must decide whether to stand firm in her convictions or make a deal with the devil to survive. When an unexpected twist forces Anthony and Soldada back into each other's orbit, buried feelings resurface, and new dangers emerge. With enemies closing in from all sides, they must make a choice: destroy each other once and for all—or break every rule to fight for something neither thought they could have … a second chance. In this explosive sequel to Forbidden, the lines between loyalty and love, justice and revenge, are blurred beyond recognition. Because in a world where power is everything, redemption comes at a deadly price.
